The S12N-TM80 and the S12N-TM50 systems are medium sized 2-way constant coverage point sources with passive frequency dividing network in a ported cabinet. The cabinet is made from waterproof glued plywood with textured Poly Urea coating. The cabinet shape allows the system to be used both as a FOH system and as a floor monitor. Appropriate control settings of a DAL Control & Drive System are provided for the different applications. The Variants providing different horizontal coverage angels of 80°x 50° (h x v S12N-TM80) an 50°x50° (h x v S12N-TM50). Please note that their horns are not interchangeable due to different passive frequency dividing networks. The system is protected by a robust protective grille with outside foam cover . Three integrated handles are provided for an easier handling. The S12N-TM system is primarily intended for touring and mobile use. In stand-alone or spaced array operation it can be used as a main, support or effect speaker. Due to its neutral reproduction characteristics and the high maximum SPL Level, it is equally suitable for speech and music transmission. For low end support, the DAL Sub-Low systems, BR118 and BR218 are suitable.
Featuring an efficient 12" NDym cone driver with 4"voice coil and an NDym 1,4" driver with 3" voice coil on a rotatable horn, the S12N-TM system provides an audio bandwidth of 50Hz - 20KHz with a Peak power handling of 800W.The S12N-TM systems can be operated without the DAL Control & Drive Systems. The passive frequency dividing network features an integrated (RMS) protection limiter for the high frequency driver. When operated with the DAL Control & Drive System, the system is optimal parametrized for sonic quality and protected for maximum continuous and peak sound pressure levels. The DAL Control & Drive Systems provide different settings for the operation of S12N-TM combinations. The S12N-TM80 offers a wide horizontal dispersion for stand-alone operation.The S12N-TM50 is also suitable for tight clustering and arraying with a horizontal dispersion (h x v 2 x 50° x 50°).
